Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Nils Pettersson started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Figeholm's Birger Bredberg got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 8th minute, Tom Löfgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute Ludvig Skålberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens-Erik Mickelsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nils Aleberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gilbert Billberg came out and tried to block the shot, but Nils Aleberg slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 13th minute. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Emil Myr took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Gilbert Billberg to make any attempt to save it. After some careless play in the Grundsund IK defense, Bo Hedkvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jens-Erik Mickelsson. The Grundsund IK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jens-Erik Mickelsson should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Nils Pettersson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Figeholm's supporters rose to their feet, but Nils Pettersson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jens-Erik Mickelsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 36 played minutes Figeholm got a freekick which was hit by Tom Löfgren. Nils Aleberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gilbert Billberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nils Aleberg ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as Nils Aleberg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gilbert Billberg. That made the score 3-1 in the 38 minute of play. In the 41st minute, one of Grundsund IK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Grundsund IK. Nils Pettersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens-Erik Mickelsson having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ernst Stålberg to make the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Figeholm was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yngve Odman to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th minute of the match, Robin Dalgren tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jens-Erik Mickelsson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Philip Björklund during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 62nd minute, one of Grundsund IK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Grundsund IK. After having played for 67 minutes, Nils Pettersson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Figeholm's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nils Pettersson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Grundsund IK's goalkeeper Jens-Erik Mickelsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gilbert Billberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils Aleberg in the 76th minute of play. Jens-Erik Mickelsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robin Dalgren in the 79th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Grundsund IK's Emil Myr got a free kick in the 85th minute. Gilbert Billberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils Aleberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robin Dalgren in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jens-Erik Mickelsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gilbert Billberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils Aleberg in the 97th minute of play. Gilbert Billberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eskil Björk, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute.
