Benigno Maraman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for besiktas jk. After 13 minutes, Kjell Bruhn made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Black Army's Benigno Maraman tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Henric Dahlbom hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Carmelo Polentzi came free with the goalkeeper in the 20th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. Carmelo Polentzi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Karl-Michael Ahlkvist made a huge save. 25 minutes into the match, Black Army's goal looked a bit too open when Kjell Bruhn came free, but Benigno Maraman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jimmie Ahlén hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 28th match minute, Black Army was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rickard Ivarsson to maneuver through the defense. If Gernando de Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute Kjell Bruhn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benigno Maraman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benigno Maraman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kjell Bruhn in the 39th minute of play. Carmelo Polentzi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Karl-Michael Ahlkvist made a huge save. Black Army's Benigno Maraman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kjell Bruhn in the 42nd minute of play. After 42 played minutes Black Army got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Michael Axelsson. When Gernando de Almeida came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the besiktas jk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gernando de Almeida couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Carmelo Polentzi made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carmelo Polentzi in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karl-Michael Ahlkvist saved besiktas jk from getting behind. When Hampus Stor fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Black Army's protests and gave Hampus Stor a yellow card for diving instead. After 88 played minutes Black Army got a freekick which was hit by Hampus Stor. 91 minutes into the match, Black Army's goalkeeper Benigno Maraman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kjell Bruhn. Benigno Maraman made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Kjell Bruhn sent off a good shot on target. besiktas jk's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
