After a rather tough play, IBRAKADABRA LIONS's Rolf Allbom got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Fabian Nyström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eddie Dahlquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Nyström in the 7th minute of play. Thomas Vestlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eddie Dahlquist having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, ac milan's Henry Rolandsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nils Rang narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, ac milan's Mark Vall got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 22nd minute Henry Rolandsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils Rang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvar Isaksson in the 26th minute of play forced IBRAKADABRA LIONS's goalkeeper Nils Rang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabian Nyström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eddie Dahlquist having to make a save. John Kiempe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Nils Rang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 38 minutes, Bengt Wallgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. IBRAKADABRA LIONS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bengt Wallgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 45th match minute, IBRAKADABRA LIONS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bengt Wallgren to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Henry Rolandsson to make the kick off. The coaching staff of ac milan protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Magne Larsson had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Eddie Dahlquist made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Kasper Söderberg sent off a good shot on target. The referee showed Fabian Nyström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
