George Bergkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Fogel in the 12th minute of the match. Viktor Klint hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Ronny Hjelm charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Ralf Holmgren came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Skärholmen's Sven-Edvin Brogren. But to his dismay, Sven-Edvin Brogren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sven-Edvin Brogren was the one to do the kick off. Ralf Holmgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Edvin Brogren in the 51st minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, Sven-Edvin Brogren notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Hörby's Ralf Holmgren. Ralf Holmgren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Viktor Klint during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Skärholmen's Teyo Santotis quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Skärholmen's Jonatan Mickelsson got his second yellow card of the match in the 76th minute. The referee ordered Jonatan Mickelsson off the ground. A collision led to Skärholmen getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Jonatan Mickelsson hit a great ball. After 80 minutes of play, Skärholmen's İlker Övünç made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ralf Holmgren was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Hörby's Gustav Molander got a free kick in the 85th minute. After 86 played minutes, Skärholmen's Viktor Klint shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ralf Holmgren came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Skärholmen reached it. In the 88th minute, İlker Övünç ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ralf Holmgren was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. After having played for 94 minutes, Sven-Edvin Brogren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Skärholmen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sven-Edvin Brogren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hörby's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Skärholmen had won, even though Hörby had held more of the ball.
