Ulricehamn FF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Francesco Trinca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 14 minutes into the match, Ulricehamn FF's goal looked a bit too open when Torbjörn Blom came free, but Tomas Ahlfors reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Göran Vennersten fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ulricehamn FF's protests and gave Göran Vennersten a yellow card for diving instead. In the 15th minute, Göran Vennersten hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes into the match, Ulricehamn FF's goal looked a bit too open when Francesco Trinca came free, but Tomas Ahlfors reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Göran Vennersten was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 19 minutes had been played. After 20 played minutes Ulricehamn FF got a freekick which was hit by Göran Vennersten. Ulricehamn FF's Tomas Ahlfors played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torbjörn Blom in the 21st minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Ulricehamn FF's goal looked a bit too open when Torbjörn Blom came free, but Tomas Ahlfors reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Ahlfors stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Torbjörn Blom's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. In the 33rd minute, Per-Olof Alströmer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ulricehamn FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Jens-Ove Mattsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomas Ahlfors showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francesco Trinca, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Robinhonaters's Tobias Strömberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jens-Ove Mattsson in the 43rd minute of play. Torbjörn Blom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Ahlfors having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

A collision led to Ulricehamn FF getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Jens-Ove Mattsson hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ulricehamn FF's zone, Torbjörn Blom stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomas Ahlfors came out of the goal and Torbjörn Blom tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Torbjörn Blom got free with Tomas Ahlfors in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Torbjörn Blom came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Robinhonaters fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Torbjörn Blom couldn't finish the play. Francesco Trinca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Robinhonaters booed when Ulricehamn FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jens-Ove Mattsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Ahlfors took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francesco Trinca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tobias Strömberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens-Ove Mattsson in the 91st minute of the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
