Alf Hagström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Björn Boström in the 29th minute. 32 minutes into the game, Jonatan Jakobsson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alf Hagström. Jonatan Jakobsson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Anton Mickelsson kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Rolf Almstedt struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Alf Hagström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vittsjö. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kasper Collin got free with Alf Hagström in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kjell Norberg to make the kick off. In the 70th minute Kasper Collin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alf Hagström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the game, Joacim Nyqvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. When Anton Mickelsson came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the FC LP fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anton Mickelsson couldn't finish the play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Vittsjö had played much better football throughout.
