Hans Christini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathias Duset in the 30th minute of the match. In the 33rd match minute, Atlético Cerveza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sixten Johnsson to maneuver through the defense. Olof Cane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bertil Lindberg in the 35th minute of play. Bertil Lindberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olof Cane read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. A collision led to FC Brunnsgård getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Alf Tinglöv hit a great ball. After having played for 41 minutes, Bertil Lindberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Brunnsgård's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bertil Lindberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in FC Brunnsgård's zone, Johnny Salkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hans Christini came out of the goal and Johnny Salkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the FC Brunnsgård defense, Mathias Duset kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hans Christini. The FC Brunnsgård fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hans Christini should have stopped the shot.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bertil Lindberg made a kick off. A collision led to FC Brunnsgård getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Torgny Eklund hit a great ball. Johnny Salkvist struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Hans Christini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético Cerveza. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertil Lindberg in the 58th minute of play forced Atlético Cerveza's goalkeeper Olof Cane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 59 minutes, Johnny Salkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético Cerveza's supporters crossed their fingers, but Johnny Salkvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mathias Duset fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hans Christini having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, FC Brunnsgård's goal looked a bit too open when Johnny Salkvist came free, but Hans Christini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hans Christini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edwin Springfält, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johnny Salkvist in the 75th minute of play forced FC Brunnsgård's goalkeeper Hans Christini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bertil Lindberg scored 1-1 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Olof Cane, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 81 played minutes FC Brunnsgård got a freekick which was hit by Pravdan Luterotti. After having played for 87 minutes, Bertil Lindberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Brunnsgård's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bertil Lindberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Bertil Lindberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
