In the 18th minute, Gottfrid Fogel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eddie Sandström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edgar Linqvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Gottfrid Fogel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Linqvist having to interfere. Araberna FC's Måns Haström got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Ljungsarp IK's goalkeeper Edgar Linqvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Ljungsarp IK defense, Eddie Sandström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edgar Linqvist. The Ljungsarp IK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edgar Linqvist should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Timmy Andersson to make the kick off. Ljungsarp IK's Malcolm Valström got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gottfrid Fogel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andreas Frisck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zebastian Hamberg in the 58th minute of the match.
