Börje Ekrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Askberg in the 3rd minute of play. Börje Ekrot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Åke Lindholm, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. After 5 minutes, Jens-Ola Helberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vissefjärda and the Upplands Ekeby IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Vissefjärda's Jens-Ola Helberg got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vissefjärda's goalkeeper Algot Sjögren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Börje Ekrot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Åke Lindholm in the 11th minute of the match. Filip Majman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Algot Sjögren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the game, Åke Lindholm was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vissefjärda's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Upplands Ekeby IF the free kick. After 21 played minutes Vissefjärda got a freekick which was hit by Åke Lindholm. Filip Majman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joakim Norberg's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Börje Ekrot firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 27th match minute, Upplands Ekeby IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edvard Gallberg to maneuver through the defense. When Sakarias Brenner came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Vissefjärda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sakarias Brenner couldn't finish the play. In the 31st minute Joakim Norberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Börje Ekrot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Jens Böcklund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Algot Sjögren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filip Majman in the 33rd minute of the match. Börje Ekrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Åke Lindholm in the 39th minute of play. Björn Gerdberg hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Joakim Norberg kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vilhelm Biörkman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Börje Ekrot didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vilhelm Biörkman went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to Upplands Ekeby IF getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Edvard Gallberg hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens-Ola Helberg in the 58th minute of play forced Upplands Ekeby IF's goalkeeper Börje Ekrot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vilhelm Biörkman in the 71st minute of play forced Upplands Ekeby IF's goalkeeper Börje Ekrot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Upplands Ekeby IF defense, Sakarias Brenner kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Börje Ekrot. The Upplands Ekeby IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Börje Ekrot should have stopped the shot. Upplands Ekeby IF's Börje Ekrot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joakim Norberg in the 93rd minute of play. After 95 played minutes Upplands Ekeby IF got a freekick which was hit by Bengt-Åke Askelöf. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Sakarias Brenner managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vissefjärda's supporters rose to their feet, but Sakarias Brenner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Börje Ekrot breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vissefjärda walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
