In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vissefjärda's goalkeeper Algot Sjögren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Evert Hafström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Algot Sjögren having to make a save. In the 20thth minute of the game Nils Vallmark who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vissefjärda's Algot Sjögren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Patrik Karlsson struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Algot Sjögren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for WINNIPEG. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Algot Sjögren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Vissefjärda's Åke Lindholm got a free kick in the 29th minute. Sakarias Brenner took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roger Bållström. Roger Bållström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The supporters of WINNIPEG booed when Vissefjärda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stefan Askberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. 37 minutes into the game, Jonatan Eklund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. WINNIPEG's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vissefjärda the free kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nils Vallmark in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Algot Sjögren saved Vissefjärda from getting behind. Mattias Pååk hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Esbjörn Lundberg fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 45th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. Nils Vallmark charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nils Vallmark the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nils Vallmark kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vilhelm Biörkman made a kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, Algot Sjögren successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to WINNIPEG getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Patrick Häll hit a great ball. WINNIPEG's Roger Bållström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sakarias Brenner in the 56th minute of play. Roger Bållström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sakarias Brenner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Evert Hafström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Algot Sjögren having to interfere. Algot Sjögren was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nils Vallmark showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 69 minute of play. After 76 minutes, Sakarias Brenner mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vissefjärda and the WINNIPEG players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Vissefjärda's Sakarias Brenner got a free kick in the 76th minute. Roger Bållström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vilhelm Biörkman in the 83rd minute of play. In the 91st minute Sakarias Brenner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Bållström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Evert Hafström hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Roger Bållström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vilhelm Biörkman, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. 96 minutes into the game, Vilhelm Biörkman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Roger Bållström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
