Vidar Bergström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lennart Andreasson in the 15th minute. Vidar Bergström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alf Bohlin in the 17th minute of play. Worizz Egna Bananer!'s Reine Björnberg got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 28 minutes into the match, Pussycats BK's goal looked a bit too open when Reine Björnberg came free, but Vidar Bergström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 29 minutes, Enzo Vieri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pussycats BK and the Worizz Egna Bananer! players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 29 played minutes Pussycats BK got a freekick which was hit by Enzo Vieri. Pussycats BK's Vidar Bergström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reine Björnberg in the 34th minute of play. The supporters of Pussycats BK booed when Worizz Egna Bananer! was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stojko Gazivoda didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Piotr Grum in the 38th minute of play forced Worizz Egna Bananer!'s goalkeeper Karl-Michael Hellström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Pussycats BK's goalkeeper Vidar Bergström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reine Björnberg. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
