Ronny Västerberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Ola Rosén made a huge save. Ola Rosén took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Göran Brodin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the match, Besiktas A.S's goal looked a bit too open when Tihamér Kozák came free, but Vidar Hansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Limmared's Ola Rosén proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Limmared from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victor Wickander in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vidar Hansson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vidar Hansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Célio Meireles in the 34th minute of the match. 36 minutes in the game, Jan-Olof Pihlgren fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ola Rosén having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Georg Galle in the 38th minute of play forced Limmared's goalkeeper Ola Rosén to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jorge Gueifão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Victor Wickander stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tihamér Kozák struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Vidar Hansson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Limmared. In the 61st minute Fritz Brask shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ola Rosén saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Besiktas A.S's Vidar Hansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tihamér Kozák in the 62nd minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Besiktas A.S's goalkeeper Vidar Hansson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victor Wickander. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Göran Brodin couldn't finish the play. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Besiktas A.S fans cheered their team off the field, for while Limmared had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
