Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Joseph Spetz scored 1-0 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Knut Lundblad, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A sloppy throw-in by Bo Ivarsson in the 8th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC Näckan's Jens Hermansson. Niklas Bergman charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Niklas Bergman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of FC Näckan booed when Vindrarp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niklas Bergman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vindrarp's goalkeeper Allan Björkdal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Allan Björkdal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kent Håkansson in the 22nd minute of play. Allan Björkdal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kent Håkansson went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. If Kent Håkansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Vindrarp's zone, Kent Håkansson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Allan Björkdal came out of the goal and Kent Håkansson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 34 minutes, Kent Håkansson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Näckan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kent Håkansson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, FC Näckan's Börge Kolberg got a free kick in the 37th minute. Knut Lundblad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bo Ivarsson in the 39th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Pontus Alström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Näckan's goalkeeper Knut Lundblad, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 47th minute, Pontus Alström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joseph Spetz to strike the kick off in the second half. Kent Håkansson did an outstanding performance 52 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 1-2 to the right of an irritated Allan Björkdal in the goal. After 56 minutes, Erik Damm mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Näckan and the Vindrarp players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 56th minute, Erik Damm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joseph Spetz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Joseph Spetz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Knut Lundblad was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. After 62 played minutes FC Näckan got a freekick which was hit by Erik Damm. FC Näckan's Kent Håkansson got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 69 minutes into the match, Vindrarp's goal looked a bit too open when Pontus Alström came free, but Allan Björkdal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of FC Näckan booed when Vindrarp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Mårtensson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Vindrarp's zone, Pontus Alström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Allan Björkdal came out of the goal and Pontus Alström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Niklas Bergman kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Börge Kolberg hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Joseph Spetz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Joacim Pihlgren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vindrarp's supporters rose to their feet, but Joacim Pihlgren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Knut Lundblad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joacim Pihlgren struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Knut Lundblad didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vindrarp. Knut Lundblad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joseph Spetz in the 96th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FC Näckan eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
