After some careless play in the Tygelsjö defense, Tonete Lecubarri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karl Smedfeldt. The Tygelsjö fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karl Smedfeldt should have stopped the shot. Karl Smedfeldt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tonete Lecubarri, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Tonete Lecubarri made the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Sjötofta's Olof Kilstedt slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Karl Smedfeldt. That made the score 1-3 after 54 minutes of play. With a little luck, Tygelsjö's Karl Smedfeldt got control of the ball when Tonete Lecubarri tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sjötofta's Konrad Eckegren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albin Täman in the 60th minute of play. 2-3 became the score in the 63rd minute when Bo Karlberg elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 66th minute Bo Karlberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Konrad Eckegren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute, Jesper Låsberg made a precise shot to the right of Konrad Eckegren. Sjötofta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. Konrad Eckegren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bo Karlberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Sjötofta booed when Tygelsjö was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bo Karlberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
