The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Ingemar Lindholm cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Sven Classon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sven Classon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingemar Lindholm in the 6th minute of the match. In the 7th minute, Klas Njurenius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 10 minutes, Júlio Faria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Freakin Turd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Júlio Faria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Júlio Faria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefan Rudqvist having to interfere. Stefan Rudqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júlio Faria, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Júlio Faria blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stefan Rudqvist having to make a save. 23 minutes into the game, Júlio Faria was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Freakin Turd's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gamlestan 666 the free kick. Júlio Faria hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. When Casper Odman fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gamlestan 666's protests and gave Casper Odman a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Freakin Turd booed when Gamlestan 666 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Casper Odman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Júlio Faria succeeded in the game's 34th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. Klas Njurenius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Stefan Rudqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gamlestan 666's Stefan Rudqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Júlio Faria in the 40th minute of play. Júlio Faria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Malte Wennerberg came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Freakin Turd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Malte Wennerberg couldn't finish the play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Júlio Faria in the 52nd minute of play forced Gamlestan 666's goalkeeper Stefan Rudqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute, Ralf Vallgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Casper Odman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Sven Classon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Gamlestan 666's goal looked a bit too open when Malte Wennerberg came free, but Stefan Rudqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Malte Wennerberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefan Rudqvist having to interfere. Júlio Faria blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stefan Rudqvist having to make a save. Gamlestan 666's Stefan Rudqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Júlio Faria in the 73rd minute of play. Júlio Faria hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Júlio Faria might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stefan Rudqvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Júlio Faria ran back to his position shaking his head. Malte Wennerberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Malte Wennerberg in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stefan Rudqvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Stefan Rudqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júlio Faria in the 92nd minute of the match.
