If David Björkqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of FC ALISHKA booed when Vegby IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agne Brenner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gunnar Högström who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Conny Tidéksson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Vegby IF's zone, David Björkqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mark Lingren came out of the goal and David Björkqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gunnar Högström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 25 minutes into the match, Vegby IF's goal looked a bit too open when Rune Engström came free, but Mark Lingren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gunnar Högström kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Daniel Evertsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mark Lingren having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gunnar Högström got free with Conny Tidéksson in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Konrad Ahlbeck kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gunnar Högström was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute, FC ALISHKA's David Björkqvist ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mark Lingren. Mark Lingren yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. Robin Sjöö hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After 66 played minutes Vegby IF got a freekick which was hit by Kalle Snäll. Konrad Ahlbeck charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Konrad Ahlbeck the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, FC ALISHKA's Konrad Ahlbeck got a free kick in the 68th minute. Conny Tidéksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gunnar Högström in the 73rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Evert Gulliksson during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Vegby IF's Evert Gulliksson got a free kick in the 74th minute. Rune Engström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Mark Lingren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Evertsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mark Lingren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kalle Snäll's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Conny Tidéksson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, FC ALISHKA's goal looked a bit too open when Kalle Snäll came free, but Conny Tidéksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute, Sonny Jönsätt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
