Krister Strömbom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliver Pastor, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 47thth minute of the game Floyd Durden who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sjöbo IF's Krister Strömbom was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After 51 minutes of play, Sjöbo IF's Douglas Britz made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bo Biörling was left in no man's land by his defense there! Krister Strömbom made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Floyd Durden sent off a good shot on target. When Oskar Byström came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Perssons IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oskar Byström couldn't finish the play. Bo Biörling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michel Fågel in the 66th minute of the match. In the 67th match minute, Perssons IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kim Sellberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute of the match Johannes Sjöberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bo Biörling showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With an all-out effort, Perssons IF's Krister Strömbom threw himself towards the right post 71 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Oliver Pastor, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some careless play in the Perssons IF defense, Jarl Tidén kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bo Biörling. The Perssons IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bo Biörling should have stopped the shot. Jarl Tidén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bo Biörling having to interfere. Bo Biörling took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vilgot Flink, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute, Oliver Pastor reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Krister Strömbom. The goal made the score 3-1. Floyd Durden who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 87thth minute tested the skills of Krister Strömbom when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Michel Fågel kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Floyd Durden's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 95thth minute, Krister Strömbom skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Oliver Pastor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sjöbo IF were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Perssons IF for a fine match.
