Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Klas Lundgren kicked off to start the match. 5 minutes into the match, ABANDONED BY BEARS's goal looked a bit too open when Clodoveo Iratzeder came free, but Ulf Ekegren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ulf Ekegren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petter Löv in the 8th minute of the match. J.P. Gonzales could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Ulf Ekegren made a huge save. Benson and Hedges's Allan Holmgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rickard Broberg in the 15th minute of play. Ulf Ekegren made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Petter Löv sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Petter Löv got free with Ulf Ekegren in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 26th minute Klas Lundgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allan Holmgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Håkan Soned kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. ABANDONED BY BEARS's Ulf Ekegren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save ABANDONED BY BEARS from getting a goal against them. If Klas Lundgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Klas Lundgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Allan Holmgren having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petter Löv in the 41st minute of play forced ABANDONED BY BEARS's goalkeeper Ulf Ekegren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Petter Löv received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ulf Ekegren came out and tried to block the shot, but Petter Löv slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 43rd minute. Gaizka Mendieta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulf Ekegren having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Ulf Ekegren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petter Löv, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 56 minutes into the game, Pelle King cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Ulf Ekegren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Petter Löv put it in 5-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ulf Ekegren. A collision led to Benson and Hedges getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Karl-Åke Hellström hit a great ball. 68 minutes into the match, ABANDONED BY BEARS's goal looked a bit too open when Pelle King came free, but Ulf Ekegren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by J.P. Gonzales in the 70th minute of play forced ABANDONED BY BEARS's goalkeeper Ulf Ekegren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ABANDONED BY BEARS's Tommy Paulin quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Karl-Åke Hellström, made in the 72nd minute of the game. Ulf Ekegren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petter Löv, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 82nd match minute, ABANDONED BY BEARS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joar Hurtig to maneuver through the defense. Ulf Ekegren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petter Löv in the 84th minute of play. Allan Holmgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Klas Lundgren in the 85th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Petter Löv made a precise shot to the right of Ulf Ekegren. ABANDONED BY BEARS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. ABANDONED BY BEARS's Ulf Ekegren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petter Löv in the 91st minute of play. After 92 minutes of play, Benson and Hedges's J.P. Gonzales made it 7-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ulf Ekegren was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee ended the match the Benson and Hedges players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
