After a defensive mix-up in Skå's zone, Mattias Friberger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jesper Nordal came out of the goal and Mattias Friberger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Alfred Viklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 8 minutes, Edvard Stenqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Barcelona's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edvard Stenqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aleksander Ekström got free with Jesper Nordal in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfred Viklund in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jesper Nordal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Skå getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Ingvar Gustafsson hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfred Viklund got free with Jesper Nordal in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alfred Viklunds short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Jesper Nordal to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Erling Viklund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reine Ahlroth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Barcelona's Erling Viklund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reine Ahlroth in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Edvard Stenqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 32 minutes into the match, Skå's goal looked a bit too open when Aleksander Ekström came free, but Jesper Nordal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jesper Nordal made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Alfred Viklund sent off a good shot on target. In the 37th minute, Aleksander Ekström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfred Viklund in the 40th minute of play forced Skå's goalkeeper Jesper Nordal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Jesper Nordal managed to avoid a goal in the 41stth minute, when FC Barcelona's Alfred Viklund fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Alfred Viklund's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 45thth minute, Jesper Nordal skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sakarias Bremming to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Alfred Viklund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jesper Nordal was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. After 79 played minutes, FC Barcelona's Edvard Stenqvist shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jesper Nordal came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Barcelona reached it. The supporters of FC Barcelona booed when Skå was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Cane didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfred Viklund in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jesper Nordal saved Skå from getting behind. Reine Ahlroth's late challenge caught a FC Barcelona's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reine Ahlroth helped the player get up and apologised. In the 82nd minute, Reine Ahlroth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edvard Stenqvist struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Jesper Nordal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Barcelona. In the 88th minute, Calistrat Bujor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Barcelona fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1.
