After 15 minutes, Svante Stål made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Skärholmen FK's Björn Tingberg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Eriberto Espinosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ian Melin in the 19th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Ulf Nyberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eriberto Espinosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paul Nyqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 34 minutes into the match, Seglora IF's goal looked a bit too open when Gustav Västlund came free, but Eriberto Espinosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Seglora IF's Eriberto Espinosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustav Västlund in the 34th minute of play. The Seglora IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eriberto Espinosa should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Paul Nyqvist made the kick off in the second half. When Seglora IF's Svante Stål in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee ignored Seglora IF's protests and gave Svante Stål a yellow card for diving instead. After 61 played minutes Seglora IF got a freekick which was hit by Svante Stål. 63 minutes into the match, Seglora IF's goalkeeper Eriberto Espinosa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ian Melin. After a rather tough play, Seglora IF's Ulf Nyberg got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Svante Stål sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The Seglora IF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
