Georg Nyströms short, quick shot in the 5thth minute got Julian Brodzki to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Hökerum booed when BK Derby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rickard Alberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Georg Nyström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute Karl-Magnus Kämpe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julian Brodzki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Georg Nyström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Julian Brodzki made a huge save. Jörgen Rang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Jens-Erik Månsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julian Brodzki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Evert Bryngelsson's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. After a rather tough play, BK Derby's Bernard Brodzki got a free kick in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evert Bryngelsson in the 31st minute of play forced BK Derby's goalkeeper Julian Brodzki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julian Brodzki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Georg Nyström in the 34th minute. BK Derby's Julian Brodzki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evert Bryngelsson in the 38th minute of play. Georg Nyström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Julian Brodzki made a huge save. Karl-Magnus Kämpe's late challenge caught a BK Derby's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karl-Magnus Kämpe helped the player get up and apologised. In the 48th match minute, Hökerum was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Magnus Kämpe to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Georg Nyström scored 2-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julian Brodzki, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 61stth minute of the game Georg Nyström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BK Derby's Julian Brodzki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpected shot in the 63rd minute by Jörgen Rang got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 65th minute, Evert Bryngelsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th minute, Georg Nyström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julian Brodzki was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After 82 played minutes Hökerum got a freekick which was hit by Felix Åström. Evert Bryngelsson took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julian Brodzki. Julian Brodzki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. 92 minutes into the match, Georg Nyström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julian Brodzki. BK Derby's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Georg Nyström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. In the 97th minute of the match Konrad Magnusson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julian Brodzki skillfully saved the ball. BK Derby's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
