Vidar Sundström scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isac Morat, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 8 minutes into the match, Gästrike-hammarby BF's goal looked a bit too open when Börge Sjödin came free, but Nicklas Askestät reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Gagnefs IF defense, Vidar Sundström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isac Morat. The Gagnefs IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isac Morat should have stopped the shot. After 16 played minutes Gagnefs IF got a freekick which was hit by Börge Sjödin. A collision led to Gästrike-hammarby BF getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Fabian Hultstrand hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernt Nilsson got free with Nicklas Askestät in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Isac Morat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vidar Sundström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the game, Gästrike-hammarby BF's Bengt-Åke Lundin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Isac Morat made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Isac Morat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabian Hultstrand, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute.
