Valdemar Wahlnäs hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. The supporters of Fosterlandet booed when Rimforsa BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uno Sellberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Göran Böcklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulf Siggesson in the 13th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Magne Ennegren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Torgny Felin fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fosterlandet's protests and gave Torgny Felin a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Fosterlandet's Torgny Felin got a free kick in the 32nd minute. With 46 minutes on the clock, Per-Erik Sjögren commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 47th match minute, Rimforsa BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per-Erik Sjögren to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Ulf Siggesson helped the player get up and apologised. After 60 played minutes Fosterlandet got a freekick which was hit by Ulf Siggesson. John Olofsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonso Carvalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fosterlandet's John Olofsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ludvig Josefsson in the 67th minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Allan Engström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ludvig Josefsson in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck John Olofsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ludvig Josefsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without John Olofsson having to make a save. Ludvig Josefsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without John Olofsson having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Fosterlandet's Karl Ambjörnsson got a free kick in the 82nd minute. If Remigiusz Madajczyk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Rimforsa BK booed when Fosterlandet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Allan Engström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ludvig Josefsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rimforsa BK were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
