Horred's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Claudinho da Rocha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Aleberg in the 13th minute of play forced Sidensjö's goalkeeper Verner Gummeson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute Adrian Aleberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Verner Gummeson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Sidensjö's goalkeeper Verner Gummeson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfred Cane. Edwin Lindberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrik Alin in the 19th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrik Alin in the 22nd minute of play forced Horred's goalkeeper Edwin Lindberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adrian Aleberg in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Verner Gummeson saved Sidensjö from getting behind. Patrik Alin struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Edwin Lindberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sidensjö. Tony Tholsson kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Edwin Lindberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrik Alin, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After 36 played minutes Horred got a freekick which was hit by Frank Berggren. A collision led to Sidensjö getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Sten Bergstedt hit a great ball. Verner Gummeson was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Marc Friberger. Johnny Sundström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Verner Gummeson having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Patrik Alin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edwin Lindberg was relentless in the 48th minute of the game.

54 minutes into the match, Alfred Cane notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Sidensjö's Verner Gummeson. Verner Gummeson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Adrian Aleberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Verner Gummeson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Aleberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Sidensjö were furious when David Arenius was red carded, 72 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 71st minute, one of Sidensjö:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sidensjö. Verner Gummeson had in the 74thth minute some difficulties stopping Orvar Wennerberg's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 74 minutes of play, Horred's Orvar Wennerberg made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Verner Gummeson was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfred Cane in the 84th minute of play forced Sidensjö's goalkeeper Verner Gummeson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute, Claudinho da Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Verner Gummeson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfred Cane, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Horred's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
