The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nils-Åke Kellberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Timmy Wikander's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niclas Enegren in the 7th minute of play forced Östra Karup IFK's goalkeeper Malcolm Apelquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Niclas Enegren struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Malcolm Apelquist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vallda BK. Malcolm Apelquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ludvig Hallgren in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 25thth minute of the game Timmy Wikander who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vallda BK's Nils-Åke Kellberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timmy Wikander in the 27th minute of play forced Vallda BK's goalkeeper Nils-Åke Kellberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nils-Åke Kellberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timmy Wikander in the 29th minute of the match. Nils-Åke Kellberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timmy Wikander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vallda BK's Nils-Åke Kellberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emil Fredriksson in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35th minute Ludvig Hallgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Malcolm Apelquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Niclas Enegren scored 3-0 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Malcolm Apelquist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ludvig Hallgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Malcolm Apelquist having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Timmy Wikander to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Östra Karup IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timmy Wikander to maneuver through the defense. 56 minutes into the match, Timmy Wikander notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Vallda BK's Nils-Åke Kellberg. Nils-Åke Kellberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bengt-Åke Tillman kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. With a little luck, Vallda BK's Nils-Åke Kellberg got control of the ball when Timmy Wikander tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emil Fredriksson in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nils-Åke Kellberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Daniel Vik fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Östra Karup IFK's protests and gave Daniel Vik a yellow card for diving instead. Niclas Enegren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Malcolm Apelquist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 76 played minutes Östra Karup IFK got a freekick which was hit by Herman Skager. Niclas Enegren might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Malcolm Apelquist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Niclas Enegren ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 87th match minute, Vallda BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artúr Herman to maneuver through the defense. Nils-Åke Kellberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timmy Wikander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 93 minutes into the game, Niclas Enegren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vallda BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Östra Karup IFK the free kick.
