Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sebastian Asmundsson took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Olov Ahlroht had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 5th minute of the match Edgar Brovall sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but William Bergqvist skillfully saved the ball. With his leg William Bergqvist managed to avoid a goal in the 9thth minute, when Askersund FF's Folke Malm fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some careless play in the Askersund FF defense, Sebastian Asmundsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mattias Granberg. The Askersund FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mattias Granberg should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Gottfrid Falck's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mattias Granberg was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Jonas Drewitz charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonas Drewitz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 21 played minutes Vedevåg FK got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Drewitz. William Bergqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bengt-Rune Pedersson, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute, Pelle Norström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sebastian Asmundsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mattias Granberg having to interfere. When Sebastian Asmundsson came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Vedevåg FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Asmundsson couldn't finish the play. Mattias Granberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Asmundsson in the 36th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Vedevåg FK's Jonas Drewitz got a free kick in the 37th minute. After having played for 40 minutes, Folke Malm managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Askersund FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Folke Malm was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Bengt-Rune Pedersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bengt-Rune Pedersson made a kick off. The supporters of Askersund FF booed when Vedevåg FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Casper Käcker didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 53rd minute of the match Pelle Norström sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but William Bergqvist skillfully saved the ball. Askersund FF's Arman Ödman got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 69th match minute, Askersund FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arman Ödman to maneuver through the defense. Jonas Drewitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Mattias Granberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sebastian Asmundsson struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Mattias Granberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vedevåg FK. William Bergqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt-Rune Pedersson in the 77th minute of play. Bengt-Rune Pedersson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonas Drewitz hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Bengt-Rune Pedersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without William Bergqvist having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Folke Malm managed to get in a good position for a shot. Askersund FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Folke Malm was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. William Bergqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Vedevåg FK's Gottfrid Falck got a free kick in the 87th minute. After 88 played minutes, Askersund FF's Pelle Norström shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper William Bergqvist came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Askersund FF reached it. Mattias Granberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Asmundsson in the 90th minute of play. After 92 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Vedevåg FK! In the 95th minute there was a penalty for Askersund FF. Pelle Norström stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving William Bergqvist. 2-1. After 98 minutes of play, Askersund FF's Bengt-Rune Pedersson made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. William Bergqvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! Askersund FF were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Vedevåg FK for a fine match.
