Bengt Lindgren charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bengt Lindgren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Kvissleby booed when Länghem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bengt Lindgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 9 minutes, Eskil Danielsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kvissleby and the Länghem players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 9th minute, Eskil Danielsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 10 minutes into the match, Länghem's Sven-Olof Hökkvist broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 11 minutes into the match, Sakarias Eklund had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eugenio Onofre. Kvissleby's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sakarias Eklund was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Eugenio Onofre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sakarias Eklund in the 15th minute of play. With 16 minutes on the clock, Sten Levander commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 16 minutes into the game, one of Kvissleby:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Eugenio Onofre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilbert Kling in the 23rd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, Kvissleby's goal looked a bit too open when Jens-Erik Nyberg came free, but Eugenio Onofre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jim Smed during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bengt Lindgren got free with Eugenio Onofre in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eugenio Onofre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Krister Matsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Krister Matsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eugenio Onofre didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 97th minute, which inside left pole to 0-8. The Kvissleby fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Länghem were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
