Hugo Cordero in the 12thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bosse Larsson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Bosse Larsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikel Sirvent, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Lägger ner nu's goalkeeper Bosse Larsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Mikel Sirvent came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Reapers FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mikel Sirvent couldn't finish the play. 27 minutes into the game, Kjell-Arne Göransson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lägger ner nu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Reapers FC the free kick. Kjell-Arne Göransson hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Mikel Sirvent's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bosse Larsson was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Reapers FC's Mikel Sirvent managed to work through Lägger ner nu's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Mikel Sirvent dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Eric Engström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronny Martinsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After 39 minutes, Rolf Sandström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Reapers FC and the Lägger ner nu players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Reapers FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Rolf Sandström hit a great ball. After 42 minutes of play, Lägger ner nu's Jim Hammarbäck made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eric Engström was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mikel Sirvent to strike the kick off in the second half. Bosse Larsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mikel Sirvent in the 68th minute of the match. A collision led to Lägger ner nu getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Kjell-Arne Göransson hit a great ball. Hugo Cordero hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute Ronny Martinsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Engström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mikel Sirvent took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bosse Larsson. Bosse Larsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 85th minute Mikel Sirvent shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bosse Larsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th match minute, Lägger ner nu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carl Björk to maneuver through the defense. In the 89thth minute of the game Mikel Sirvent who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lägger ner nu's Bosse Larsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eric Engström was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jim Hammarbäck showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 91 minute of play. The Reapers FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Lägger ner nu's performance. The match ended with a win for Lägger ner nu.
