The tension between the Kainulasjärvi IFK and the ÅKESHOVS IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Kainulasjärvi IFK getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Alfons Nordin hit a great ball. 11 minutes into the match, ÅKESHOVS IF's goalkeeper Erik Bjurström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jan-Olof Ström. 12 minutes into the game, Kainulasjärvi IFK's Alfons Nordin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erik Bjurström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Arman Siggman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Ingmar Västberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to ÅKESHOVS IF getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. John Gummeson hit a great ball. Lars-Erik Bäcklin charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lars-Erik Bäcklin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lars-Erik Bäcklin hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Erik Bjurström came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Kainulasjärvi IFK's Jan-Olof Ström. But to his dismay, Jan-Olof Ström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Philip Löfskog received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Erik Bjurström came out and tried to block the shot, but Philip Löfskog slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 33rd minute. Lars-Erik Bäcklin hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Stefan Anselius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Ingmar Västberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Samuel Bock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Philip Löfskog to strike the kick off in the second half. Stefan Anselius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. ÅKESHOVS IF's Erik Bjurström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars-Erik Bäcklin in the 55th minute of play. After 56 minutes of play Kainulasjärvi IFK's Lars-Erik Bäcklin was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 57th minute, Lars-Erik Bäcklin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Samuel Bock managed to get in a good position for a shot. ÅKESHOVS IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Samuel Bock was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ingmar Västberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Philip Löfskog's late challenge caught a ÅKESHOVS IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Philip Löfskog helped the player get up and apologised. In the 60th minute, Philip Löfskog hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 63 minutes into the match, ÅKESHOVS IF's goal looked a bit too open when Alfons Nordin came free, but Erik Bjurström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Kainulasjärvi IFK's goalkeeper Ingmar Västberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Samuel Bock. Erik Bjurström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Olof Ström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 69 minutes, Jan-Olof Ström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kainulasjärvi IFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan-Olof Ström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erik Bjurström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfons Nordin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfons Nordin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfons Nordin in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erik Bjurström saved ÅKESHOVS IF from getting behind. If Samuel Bock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Markus Åkerström's late challenge caught a ÅKESHOVS IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Markus Åkerström helped the player get up and apologised. In the 84th minute, Markus Åkerström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Kainulasjärvi IFK getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Philip Löfskog hit a great ball. Jan-Olof Ström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Bjurström having to interfere. Kainulasjärvi IFK's Alfons Nordin got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 92nd minute, Philip Löfskog left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kainulasjärvi IFK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the ÅKESHOVS IF players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Kainulasjärvi IFK.
