Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) North Lemon Athletic's Agne Bergsten started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Per-Åke Lindström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Bjurström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ÅKESHOVS IF were furious when John Gummeson was red carded, 5 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Per-Åke Lindström received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Erik Bjurström came out and tried to block the shot, but Per-Åke Lindström slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 9th minute. 12 minutes into the game, Manfred Njurenius cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Erik Bjurström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Erik Bjurström made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Manfred Njurenius sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, ÅKESHOVS IF's Arman Siggman got a free kick in the 21st minute. Agne Bergsten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erik Bjurström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Erik Bjurström made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Manfred Njurenius sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of ÅKESHOVS IF booed when North Lemon Athletic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Åke Danielsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th match minute, ÅKESHOVS IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefan Anselius to maneuver through the defense. Erik Bjurström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Åke Danielsson in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd match minute, ÅKESHOVS IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per-Olof Delin to maneuver through the defense. ÅKESHOVS IF's Erik Bjurström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save ÅKESHOVS IF from getting a goal against them. Erik Bjurström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manfred Njurenius in the 37th minute. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Agne Bergsten sped through ÅKESHOVS IF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Erik Bjurström. Andreas Waller charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andreas Waller the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to ÅKESHOVS IF getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Åke Danielsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Erik Bjurström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 48th minute, Agne Bergsten made a precise shot to the right of Erik Bjurström. ÅKESHOVS IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

In the 55th minute, Simon Nordgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Åke Danielsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, North Lemon Athletic's Gösta Helander got a free kick in the 59th minute. 62 minutes into the game, Bernt Kuse threw the ball into play from the sideline. ÅKESHOVS IF's Per-Olof Delin quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Erik Bjurström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manfred Njurenius in the 65th minute of play. 66 minutes into the game, Åke Danielsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Erik Bjurström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Per-Åke Lindström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Erik Bjurström came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by North Lemon Athletic's Manfred Njurenius. But to his dismay, Manfred Njurenius quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manfred Njurenius in the 76th minute of play forced ÅKESHOVS IF's goalkeeper Erik Bjurström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erik Bjurström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manfred Njurenius's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. 88 minutes into the match, ÅKESHOVS IF's goal looked a bit too open when Åke Danielsson came free, but Erik Bjurström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, ÅKESHOVS IF's goal looked a bit too open when Manfred Njurenius came free, but Erik Bjurström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erik Bjurström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Åke Danielsson in the 96th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Manfred Njurenius's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erik Bjurström was relentless in the 97th minute of the game. North Lemon Athletic walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
