Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Vilhelm Gadd got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute Per-Olof Odén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niclas Hermansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per-Olof Odén in the 6th minute of play forced Nordkoster's goalkeeper Niclas Hermansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Äspered's Patrick Blom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vilhelm Gadd in the 10th minute of play. 13 minutes into the game, Äspered's Sven-Åke Snell nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Niclas Hermansson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Niclas Hermansson came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Äspered's Per-Olof Odén. But to his dismay, Per-Olof Odén quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Äspered were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Nordkoster's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eric Hjälm took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Sven-Åke Snell heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Niclas Hermansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Åke Snell, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute, Morgan Lindmark hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Nordkoster's zone, Sven-Åke Snell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Niclas Hermansson came out of the goal and Sven-Åke Snell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 30 played minutes Nordkoster got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Oskar Kinnman. Per-Olof Odén received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Niclas Hermansson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sven-Åke Snell might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Niclas Hermansson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sven-Åke Snell ran back to his position shaking his head. Per-Olof Odén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niclas Hermansson having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Nordkoster's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Åke Snell came free, but Niclas Hermansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Per-Olof Odén had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Niclas Hermansson. Nordkoster's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Per-Olof Odén was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Niclas Hermansson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sven-Åke Snell went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sven-Åke Snell made a kick off. Patrick Blom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vilhelm Gadd in the 52nd minute of play. Pål Kvalfält received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Niclas Hermansson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfons Dalgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. In the 61st minute, Ture Adelsköld hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 61 minutes into the match, Nordkoster's goalkeeper Niclas Hermansson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Per-Olof Odén. A collision led to Nordkoster getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Morgan Lindmark hit a great ball. Sven-Åke Snell received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Niclas Hermansson came out and tried to block the shot, but Sven-Åke Snell slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 68th minute. 72 minutes into the game, Vilhelm Gadd was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nordkoster's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Äspered the free kick. Patrick Blom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vilhelm Gadd, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 91st minute, Timmy Vennerkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Sven-Åke Snell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
