Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Ockelbo IFK's Jonny Blom started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 7 minutes, Gerard Staal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Skellefteå RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerard Staal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ockelbo IFK's Vilhelm Sandberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerard Staal in the 9th minute of play. Matthias Almqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Vilhelm Sandberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 15 minutes into the game, Dag Strömberg threw the ball into play from the sideline. Skellefteå RK's Eddie Söderberg quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 17 minutes into the game, Skellefteå RK's Matthias Almqvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vilhelm Sandberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The supporters of Skellefteå RK booed when Ockelbo IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oskar Askestät didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute, Skellefteå RK's Thor Hammarberg seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Thor Hammarberg the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Skellefteå RK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Thor Hammarberg had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Per Bure hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute of the match Eddie Söderberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vilhelm Sandberg skillfully saved the ball. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gerard Staal to strike the kick off in the second half. A sloppy throw-in by Dag Strömberg in the 52nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Skellefteå RK's Eddie Söderberg. In the 58th minute, Gerard Staal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Isac Biörling made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oskar Askestät in the 60th minute of play. Vilhelm Sandberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gerard Staal went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Gerard Staal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Vilhelm Sandberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Gerard Staal kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vilhelm Sandberg. That made the score 1-3 in the 71 minute of play. In the 78th minute Oskar Askestät shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isac Biörling saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edward Blom took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vilhelm Sandberg. Vilhelm Sandberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Gerard Staal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vilhelm Sandberg having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Skellefteå RK's Gerard Staal slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vilhelm Sandberg. That made the score 1-5 after 86 minutes of play. In the 89th match minute, Ockelbo IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per Bure to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute, Gerard Staal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Skellefteå RK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6. Gerard Staal struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Vilhelm Sandberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skellefteå RK. Skellefteå RK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
