Älandsbro's Malte Söderman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmiro Ibañez in the 8th minute of play. If Lars Löfgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Malte Söderman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arman Lövkvist in the 12th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Julita IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Torbjörn Rolandsson came free, but Ove Sander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute Delmiro Ibañez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Malte Söderman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ove Sander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulf Joensson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Älandsbro booed when Julita IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joacim Hydén didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Lars Löfgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ove Sander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kjell Liljeström in the 31st minute of play. Ove Sander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kjell Liljeström, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Malte Söderman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Delmiro Ibañez's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Älandsbro's Malte Söderman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Älandsbro from getting a goal against them. Malte Söderman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arman Lövkvist in the 40th minute. With a little luck, Älandsbro's Malte Söderman got control of the ball when Lars Löfgren tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Lars Löfgren took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Malte Söderman to make any attempt to save it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When Delmiro Ibañez came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Julita IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Delmiro Ibañez couldn't finish the play. Malte Söderman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arman Lövkvist in the 73rd minute of play. After 74 played minutes Älandsbro got a freekick which was hit by Torbjörn Rolandsson. If Delmiro Ibañez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Torbjörn Rolandsson hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Lars Löfgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Göran Nordkvist in the 96th minute of play forced Älandsbro's goalkeeper Malte Söderman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ove Sander made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Ulf Joensson sent off a good shot on target. Ulf Joensson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ove Sander having to interfere.
