Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Arman Tidén made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute, Jens-Ove Tidéksson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jörgen Lindblom came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by DIF Sthlm's João Carlos de Almeida. But to his dismay, João Carlos de Almeida quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Arman Tidén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronny Tomasson having to interfere. Ronny Tomasson came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Ribban FF's Jens-Ove Tidéksson. But to his dismay, Jens-Ove Tidéksson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Greger Dahlkvist in the 14th minute of play forced Ribban FF's goalkeeper Jörgen Lindblom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Carlos de Almeida scored 1-2 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jörgen Lindblom, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Carlos de Almeida in the 22nd minute of play forced Ribban FF's goalkeeper Jörgen Lindblom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ronny Tomasson was a little too slow when Arman Tidén got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 2-2. Jens-Ove Tidéksson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Ronny Tomasson made a huge save. João Carlos de Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of DIF Sthlm booed when Ribban FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esbjörn Willig didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ribban FF's Jörgen Lindblom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Carlos de Almeida in the 37th minute of play. After having played for 47 minutes, João Carlos de Almeida managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DIF Sthlm's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Carlos de Almeida was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and João Carlos de Almeida made a kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Greger Dahlkvist recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jörgen Lindblom. Greger Dahlkvist showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-4. With a little luck, Ribban FF's Jörgen Lindblom got control of the ball when Jack Hellgren tried to sneak it across the goal line. With 62 minutes on the clock, Kjell-Arne Lustig commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 67 minutes into the match, DIF Sthlm's goal looked a bit too open when Sixten Lindman came free, but Ronny Tomasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 70 played minutes DIF Sthlm got a freekick which was hit by João Carlos de Almeida. 72 minutes into the match, Jack Hellgren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jörgen Lindblom. Ribban FF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jack Hellgren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-5. In the 80th minute João Carlos de Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jörgen Lindblom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hannes Bergqvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Jörgen Lindblom made a huge save. After 87 played minutes Ribban FF got a freekick which was hit by Jens-Ove Tidéksson. DIF Sthlm's Greger Dahlkvist got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Ribban FF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. DIF Sthlm were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
