Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ruben Kepa got the match started through his kick off. Gunnar Wallman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kåre Bodin, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Sandviken's Gunnar Wallman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Sandviken from getting a goal against them. William Bollström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. William Åström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gunnar Wallman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kåre Bodin in the 8th minute of play. Gunnar Wallman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Greger Haeger in the 9th minute of the match. Gunnar Wallman was out of position in the 14 minute of play, and Kåre Bodin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kåre Bodin really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. With a little luck, Sandviken's Gunnar Wallman got control of the ball when Kåre Bodin tried to sneak it across the goal line. With an all-out effort, Göta IK's Gunnar Wallman threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Greger Haeger, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Göta IK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
