In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bålsta BF's goalkeeper Mattias Grep, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nils Sillén received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Mattias Grep tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th match minute, Bålsta BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valter Enström to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karl-Michael Björk got free with Mattias Grep in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. But to his dismay, Markus Nyberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 45th minute, Jan Nord hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karl-Michael Björk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mattias Grep having to interfere. After the first half Bålsta BF were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ian Kullander to strike the kick off in the second half. Malå IK's Kalle Fristedt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Malå IK from getting a goal against them. Per-Arne Erserman was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 73 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute, Per-Arne Erserman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Valter Enström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bålsta BF's supporters rose to their feet, but Valter Enström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kalle Fristedt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mattias Grep made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Michael Björk in the 78th minute of play. Kalle Fristedt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ian Kullander in the 79th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ian Kullander got free with Kalle Fristedt in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nils Sillén in the 89th minute of play forced Bålsta BF's goalkeeper Mattias Grep to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute, Karl-Michael Björk ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mattias Grep was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Bålsta BF's zone, Karl-Michael Björk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mattias Grep came out of the goal and Karl-Michael Björk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Bålsta BF players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
