After 3 minutes, Jan-Erik Groth mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wheelies Footballclub and the Åkarp BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Wheelies Footballclub getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Jan-Erik Groth hit a great ball. Thor Larsson was out of position in the 9 minute of play, and Jan-Erik Groth capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jan-Erik Groth really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Thor Larsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan-Erik Groth in the 12th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Wheelies Footballclub's Abayhan Çelik sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thor Larsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Åkarp BK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Johnathan Price scored to the left of an out of position Thor Larsson, making the score, 2-0. After 31 played minutes Åkarp BK got a freekick which was hit by Hubert Hansson. In the 32nd minute, Johnathan Price reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Thor Larsson. The goal made the score 3-0. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by Åkarp BK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Filipe Jesus was slow to take the kick. During this time Wheelies Footballclub's players had a chance to rest. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

A murmur of surprise went through the audience when Åkarp BK's Claes Vestberg after having done a couple of nice dribblings in the 60th minute of the game fired away a shot to his disappointment passed just outside the right post. Niclas Håning fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Konrad Alén having to interfere. If Claes Vestberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Åkarp BK's Thor Larsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johnathan Price in the 66th minute of play. Jan-Erik Groth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Thor Larsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jan-Erik Groth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Wheelies Footballclub players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
