Malmö FF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rentjärn the free kick. A collision led to Malmö FF getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Eufemio Rajoi hit a great ball. Kjell Samuelsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arman Adelsköld. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kjell Samuelsson ran back to his position shaking his head. Rentjärn's Alf Jespersson quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jens-Ola Blomqvist, made in the 9th minute of the game. Casper Larsfält hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. After 14 minutes of play, Rentjärn's Viktor Tomík made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arman Adelsköld was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arman Adelsköld took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esbjörn Säfström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Casper Larsfält fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Malmö FF's protests and gave Casper Larsfält a yellow card for diving instead. Casper Larsfält hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. The supporters of Malmö FF booed when Rentjärn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emil Nordström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gunnar Molander hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Rentjärn's zone, Casper Larsfält stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Svante Nord came out of the goal and Casper Larsfält tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With an all-out effort, Malmö FF's Svante Nord threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kim Lund, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Alf Jespersson hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. When Jens-Ola Blomqvist fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Jens-Ola Blomqvist hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the game, Rentjärn's Esbjörn Säfström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arman Adelsköld made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Kim Lund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Svante Nord stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Casper Larsfält's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Svante Nord showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kim Lund, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 43rd minute, Casper Larsfält hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Malmö FF's zone, Paul Lindström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arman Adelsköld came out of the goal and Paul Lindström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The wind increased when Viktor Tomík made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Malmö FF's goal looked a bit too open when Alf Jespersson came free, but Arman Adelsköld reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Viktor Tomík reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arman Adelsköld. The goal made the score 1-3. Esbjörn Säfström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arman Adelsköld having to interfere. Svante Nord showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kim Lund in the 71st minute of the match. In the 73rd minute Esbjörn Säfström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arman Adelsköld saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A throw-in in the 76th minute of the game was made by Emil Nordström with Esbjörn Säfström as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Arman Adelsköld made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Viktor Tomík sent off a good shot on target. In the 82nd minute, Alf Jespersson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Malmö FF's Kim Lund got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Malmö FF getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Ivan Sandell hit a great ball. Viktor Tomík scored 1-4 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arman Adelsköld, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
