Figgs IK's Allan Vesterberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pål Bergfelt in the 19th minute of play. Stefan Sjöö charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stefan Sjöö the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Stefan Sjöö hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Pelle Hallgren took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for 康海林. Helvetesfallet BK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Figgs IK's goal looked a bit too open when Elof Ekenberg came free, but Allan Vesterberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sixten Arvidsson got free with Allan Vesterberg in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Per-Erik Ersman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Allan Vesterberg. That made the score 3-0 in the 41 minute of play. In the 44th minute, Sixten Arvidsson made a precise shot to the right of Allan Vesterberg. Figgs IK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

In the 77th minute, Figgs IK's John Sellberg seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed John Sellberg the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Figgs IK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and John Sellberg had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 77th minute, one of Figgs IK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Figgs IK. The audience was convinced that Elof Ekenberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Allan Vesterberg was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. 81 minutes into the game, Helvetesfallet BK's Elof Ekenberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Helvetesfallet BK fully deserved thier win.
