Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Tony Hydén started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 4 played minutes Åsarp got a freekick which was hit by Klas Åkesson. When Överkalix IK's Gösta Åkerman in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Åsarp's goalie prevented a goal. Helge Åkerman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Hamnberg having to interfere. Tony Hydén blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Herman Wester having to make a save. In the 16th minute, Tomas Vesterberg sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Åsarp's Herman Wester didn't even have to move. Åsarp's Herman Wester played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tony Hydén in the 19th minute of play. 23 minutes into the game, Tony Hydén cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Herman Wester was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Överkalix IK's Richard Hamnberg got control of the ball when Bertil Sjöö tried to sneak it across the goal line. Linus Björck kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Richard Hamnberg was a little too slow when Helge Åkerman got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 39th minute. The score was now 1-1. Bertil Sjöö might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Richard Hamnberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bertil Sjöö ran back to his position shaking his head. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
After a defensive mix-up in Åsarp's zone, Tony Hydén stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herman Wester came out of the goal and Tony Hydén tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gösta Åkerman might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Herman Wester. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gösta Åkerman ran back to his position shaking his head. Helge Åkerman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Helge Åkerman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Hamnberg having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Överkalix IK's Linus Björck got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Frank Lundqvist was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 73rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 78 minutes into the game, Frank Lundqvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Åsarp's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Överkalix IK the free kick. The supporters of Överkalix IK booed when Åsarp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Lundqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute, one of Överkalix IK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Överkalix IK. In the 84th minute there was a penalty for Åsarp. Frank Lundqvist stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Richard Hamnberg. 2-1. In the 86th match minute, Överkalix IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcus Lenberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute of the match Frank Lundqvist sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Richard Hamnberg skillfully saved the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Åsarp's Bertil Sjöö sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Richard Hamnberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Richard Hamnberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Helge Åkerman went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Helge Åkerman struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Richard Hamnberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Åsarp. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Åsarp fans cheered their team off the field, for while Överkalix IK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
