The supporters of soldatbom booed when Gryt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulf Lövgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 8 played minutes Gryt got a freekick which was hit by Reine Hjeltman. A hard shot 10 in the game by André Kämpe from a close distance when the talented Joakim Lindberg managed to make a qualified save. soldatbom's players were relieved. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling André Kämpe in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joakim Lindberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 16th minute, Patricio Lapurdi had to leave the field with a concussion. Gryt made a substitution. Egon Kock replaced Patricio Lapurdi. In the 18th minute, Ingemar Norberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling André Kämpe in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joakim Lindberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 22 played minutes Gryt got a freekick which was hit by Petter Grönlund. Frank Page didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Charlie Blom went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 30th minute, Stig Olofsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Frank Page was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The supporters of soldatbom booed when Gryt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petter Grönlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to soldatbom getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Leo Månsson hit a great ball. After having played for 48 minutes, Egon Kock managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gryt's supporters crossed their fingers, but Egon Kock was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half soldatbom were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Charlie Blom to make the kick off. Egon Kock hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Gryt's André Kämpe got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stig Olofsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frank Page having to interfere. 60 minutes in the game Rune Hääger did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Jerry Jakobsson. Stig Lindgren made in the 62nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Stig Lindgren immediately put the ball in play. Einar Stolpe hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. The throw-in from Petter Grönlund in the 68th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by soldatbom's Leo Månsson. Gryt's Frank Page played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig Olofsson in the 70th minute of play. André Kämpe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joakim Lindberg having to interfere. When Charlie Blom fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored soldatbom's protests and gave Charlie Blom a yellow card for diving instead. In the 88th minute of the game Rune Hääger made a throw-in which Jerry Jakobsson played forward. The Gryt supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching soldatbom's performance. The match ended with a win for soldatbom.
