Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Staffan Hegg started the match with the kick off. Hans Mikaelsson took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sverker Ivarsson. Sverker Ivarsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Hans Mikaelsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sverker Ivarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Jonasson in the 8th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Oscarshamn United's zone, Staffan Hegg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olov Albäck came out of the goal and Staffan Hegg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 21 played minutes Oscarshamn United got a freekick which was hit by David Browall. The Oscarshamn United fans' excitement grew in the 23rd match minute when Oscarshamn United's Hans Mikaelsson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Boris Molin hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. 28 minutes into the game, Richard Blom cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Sverker Ivarsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 33 minutes, Ian Ekrot mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the VK Special and the Oscarshamn United players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 32nd minute of the game. One of VK Special:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Oscarshamn United:s goal. Sverker Ivarsson went to the wrong direction when Jonathan Jonasson was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After 41 played minutes Oscarshamn United got a freekick which was hit by David Browall.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Richard Blom to strike the kick off in the second half. Johan Lindström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Olov Albäck having to make a save. David Browall hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Richard Blom's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sverker Ivarsson was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. VK Special's Sverker Ivarsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Jonasson in the 73rd minute of play. Staffan Hegg struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Olov Albäck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VK Special. When Staffan Hegg came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the VK Special fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Staffan Hegg couldn't finish the play. Staffan Hegg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olov Albäck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Staffan Hegg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sverker Ivarsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Richard Blom in the 95th minute. When the final whistle went the supporters of Oscarshamn United were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant VK Special side.
