Georg Boström took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Algot Wållander. Real Hugo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henning Axelsson in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Algot Wållander saved Real Hugo from getting behind. The supporters of Höllviken IFK booed when Real Hugo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sverker Nordin didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henning Axelsson in the 26th minute of play forced Real Hugo's goalkeeper Algot Wållander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute, Nils-Emil Spetz made a precise shot to the right of Algot Wållander. Real Hugo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. 49 minutes into the match, Real Hugo's goal looked a bit too open when Nils-Emil Spetz came free, but Algot Wållander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Robin Hammarström made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Real Hugo's goalkeeper Algot Wållander had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nils-Emil Spetz. Per-Oskar Sandwall hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Algot Wållander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henning Axelsson in the 86th minute of the match. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Hugo's goalkeeper Algot Wållander, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nils-Emil Spetz got free with Algot Wållander in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
