Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nils Törnqvist started the match with the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Edgar Ekeberg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sivert Julin. That made the score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. In the 9th minute, Hjorted IFK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Pino Bocanegra fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inge Lindström in the 21st minute of play forced Hokkaido Wolves's goalkeeper Frank Vestlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Sivert Julin managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Hokkaido Wolves's Jan Löfgren fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Pino Bocanegra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sivert Julin having to interfere. Frank Vestlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils Törnqvist in the 30th minute of the match. Lucas Lidström hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. 36 minutes into the game, Pino Bocanegra recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sivert Julin. Pino Bocanegra showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. The long shot by Albert Överman in the 43rd minute really tested Sivert Julin's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Pino Bocanegra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lucas Lidström's late challenge caught a Hokkaido Wolves's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucas Lidström helped the player get up and apologised. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jan Löfgren to make the kick off. Sivert Julin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Löfgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th match minute, Hjorted IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nils Törnqvist to maneuver through the defense. Sivert Julin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Markus Bengtsson in the 57th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Edgar Ekeberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sivert Julin. Hjorted IFK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edgar Ekeberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. A collision led to Hokkaido Wolves getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Ingmar Bergqvist hit a great ball. Sivert Julin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Markus Bengtsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 72 minutes into the game, Markus Bengtsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Sivert Julin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 78th minute, Jan Löfgren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hokkaido Wolves fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Hjorted IFK's Sivert Julin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pino Bocanegra in the 81st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Hjorted IFK's zone, Pino Bocanegra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sivert Julin came out of the goal and Pino Bocanegra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Hjorted IFK's Pelle Bengtsson got a free kick in the 84th minute. Sivert Julin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Löfgren in the 90th minute of play. In the 91st minute Inge Lindström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Vestlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pontus Wennerberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sivert Julin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Ekeberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan Löfgren in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sivert Julin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hjorted IFK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
