Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Emanuel Strömbom kicked off to start the match. After 6 played minutes, Västerås SK's Sonny Bjurström shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Isaac Arvidsson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Västerås SK reached it. Tor Lindqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lennart Bergendahl, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After 9 played minutes Västerås SK got a freekick which was hit by Pål Backman. Tor Lindqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Holmberg in the 13th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Västerås SK's Emanuel Strömbom sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isaac Arvidsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Västerås SK's Tor Lindqvist got control of the ball when Harald Hjelm tried to sneak it across the goal line. Emanuel Strömbom blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Isaac Arvidsson having to make a save. 21 minutes into the match, Västerås SK's goal looked a bit too open when Lennart Bergendahl came free, but Tor Lindqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Jonsered FK booed when Västerås SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pål Backman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Holmberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Tor Lindqvist made a huge save. Anthon Asklund was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 27 minutes into the match. Severiano Sugar, 28 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 32 minutes into the match, Jonsered FK's Harald Hjelm sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tor Lindqvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Johannes Gustafsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 47 minutes into the match, Västerås SK's goalkeeper Tor Lindqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonathan Holmberg. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Emanuel Strömboms short, quick shot in the 51stth minute got Isaac Arvidsson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 53rd minute Harald Hjelm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tor Lindqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emanuel Strömbom blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Isaac Arvidsson having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Harald Hjelm in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tor Lindqvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 59th minute Jonathan Holmberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tor Lindqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tor Lindqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harald Hjelm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Harald Hjelm struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Tor Lindqvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jonsered FK. Tor Lindqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Holmberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 95 played minutes Västerås SK got a freekick which was hit by Viktor Täman. There was no doubt that Jonsered FK were the better team. Jonsered FK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
