When Erland Jakobsson came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Lindesberg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erland Jakobsson couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Erland Jakobsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Inge Kvick was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. In the 19th minute, Next Generation's Sven Billström ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fredric Qvalfeldt. Fredric Qvalfeldt yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Fredric Qvalfeldt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Peder Spets in the 22nd minute. In the 24th minute, Erland Jakobsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Inge Kvick was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Fredric Qvalfeldt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven Billström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Next Generation's Victor Browall got a free kick in the 30th minute. When Lindesberg's Erland Jakobsson in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Next Generation's goalie prevented a goal. In the 35th match minute, Next Generation was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kristian Zander to maneuver through the defense. Next Generation's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Sven Billström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fredric Qvalfeldt having to make a save. Peder Spets could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Fredric Qvalfeldt made a huge save.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erland Jakobsson to strike the kick off in the second half. Inge Kvick made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erland Jakobsson in the 53rd minute. In the 55th minute, Erland Jakobsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 96th minute of the match Ernst Olsson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Inge Kvick skillfully saved the ball. Next Generation succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Lindesberg had controlled the match.
