Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gustaf Alefors got the match started through his kick off. If Sven Tham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The throw-in from Mattias Holm in the 24th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by The Invincibles's Franco Saa. Zlatan Toni struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Inácio Carvalho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Invincibles. After a rather tough play, Oldham Athletic's Pär Åström got a free kick in the 28th minute. Shkodran Mustafi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustaf Alefors's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. After having played for 31 minutes, Pär Åström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oldham Athletic's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pär Åström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zlatan Toni during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Shkodran Mustafi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pär Åström went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After 43 played minutes The Invincibles got a freekick which was hit by Zlatan Toni. Gustaf Alefors sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zlatan Toni to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Oldham Athletic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giovanni Mendes to maneuver through the defense. Oldham Athletic's Inácio Carvalho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Oldham Athletic from getting a goal against them. Shkodran Mustafi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaf Alefors in the 57th minute of the match. Gustaf Alefors might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Shkodran Mustafi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gustaf Alefors ran back to his position shaking his head. 63 minutes into the match, The Invincibles's goal looked a bit too open when Pär Åström came free, but Shkodran Mustafi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Shkodran Mustafi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaf Alefors in the 64th minute of the match. In the 65th minute Pär Åström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shkodran Mustafi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mattias Holm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Shkodran Mustafi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaf Alefors in the 72nd minute of the match. Shkodran Mustafi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaf Alefors, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpected shot in the 77th minute by Zlatan Toni got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Inácio Carvalho came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by The Invincibles's Zlatan Toni. But to his dismay, Zlatan Toni quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Zlatan Toni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inácio Carvalho having to interfere. Mattias Holm hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gustaf Alefors in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Shkodran Mustafi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 93rd minute Gustaf Alefors shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shkodran Mustafi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Shkodran Mustafi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pär Åström went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score.
