Bo Klintæus dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fredric Skytt in the 15th minute of play forced Myrslokis's goalkeeper Bo Klintæus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jim Jonasson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Bo Klintæus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Fredric Skytt put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Bo Klintæus. In the 37th minute, Alvar Stenberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 38 minutes into the game, Brian Carlberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Myrslokis's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Estrellas FC the free kick. In the 38th match minute, Myrslokis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brian Carlberg to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jim Jonasson in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bo Klintæus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Jim Jonasson came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Estrellas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jim Jonasson couldn't finish the play. Fredric Skytt might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bo Klintæus. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fredric Skytt ran back to his position shaking his head.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Brian Carlberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Fredric Skytt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bo Klintæus having to interfere. 57 minutes into the game, Estrellas FC's Jarl Mellbad nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bo Klintæus made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Brian Carlberg kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Myrslokis's zone, Jim Jonasson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bo Klintæus came out of the goal and Jim Jonasson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Myrslokis's Bo Klintæus got control of the ball when Jim Jonasson tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Estrellas FC booed when Myrslokis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Holger Vallander didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bo Klintæus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fredric Skytt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 89 minutes into the match, Estrellas FC's Fredric Skytt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bo Klintæus narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
