An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Wallin in the 6th minute of play forced Gyttorp FF's goalkeeper Mikael Olsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pelle Lindholm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Åkerström having to interfere. Björn Wennersten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Gyttorp FF booed when Stenstorp IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Arne Askelöf didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Erik Wallin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mikael Olsson was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erik Wallin in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mikael Olsson saved Gyttorp FF from getting behind. 24 minutes into the match, Stenstorp IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Pelle Lindholm came free, but Benjamin Åkerström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mikael Olsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erik Wallin's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erik Wallin in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mikael Olsson saved Gyttorp FF from getting behind. An unexpected shot in the 31st minute by Niklas Bergsten got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Erik Wallin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikael Olsson having to interfere. Mikael Olsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rutger Dusett in the 38th minute of play. 41 minutes into the game, Peter Alén threw the ball into play from the sideline. Stenstorp IFK's Christer Isaksson quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Patric Holmgren hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Stenstorp IFK's Niklas Bergsten got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 47th minute of the match, Erik Wallin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mikael Olsson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Wallin in the 53rd minute of play forced Gyttorp FF's goalkeeper Mikael Olsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Niklas Bergsten fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stenstorp IFK's protests and gave Niklas Bergsten a yellow card for diving instead. In the 54th minute, Niklas Bergsten hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benjamin Åkerström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robert Samuelsson in the 55th minute. 59 minutes in the game, Erik Wallin dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Erik Wallin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Mikael Olsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 72 minutes into the game, Stenstorp IFK's Niklas Bergsten nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mikael Olsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Mikael Olsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Wallin, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. When Christer Isaksson came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Stenstorp IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christer Isaksson couldn't finish the play. Stenstorp IFK's Erik Wallin got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Niklas Bergsten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niklas Bergsten in the 87th minute of play forced Gyttorp FF's goalkeeper Mikael Olsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Erik Wallin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mikael Olsson. Gyttorp FF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erik Wallin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Stenstorp IFK fully deserved thier win.
