The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in SIMRISHAMN SK's zone, Edvin Samuelsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erik Lundström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Daniel Esbjörnsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erik Lundström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Esbjörnsson having to interfere. Fabian Tomasson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabian Tomasson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Adrian Gallin hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind THE WINNERS's goalkeeper Daniel Esbjörnsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fabian Tomasson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Daniel Esbjörnsson having to make a save. 41 minutes into the match, SIMRISHAMN SK's goal looked a bit too open when Edvin Samuelsson came free, but Jerônimo Dias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 44 minutes, Ulrik Molander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SIMRISHAMN SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulrik Molander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, THE WINNERS's Niclas Rolandsson got a free kick in the 46th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erling Danielsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Ulrik Molander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erik Lundström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Daniel Esbjörnsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ulrik Molander blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Daniel Esbjörnsson having to make a save. Ulrik Molander's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daniel Esbjörnsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Daniel Esbjörnsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Tomasson in the 93rd minute of play.
